IDAKI SHIN Concert in Sweden
"Cosmic Life of the Universe: of Light and of Water" IDAKI SHIN Stockholms Konserthus
On November 15, 1999 Mr. Shin Idaki played the piano at the Blue Hall of the Stockholm City Hall, followed by the charity concert held on November 16 at the Stockholm Concert Hall, where the Nobel Prize Banquets and the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies take place respectively. The concert attended also by Her Majesty the Queen of Sweden Silvia facilitated the audience to experience the immanent beauty of life light radiating out of deep within every one of us thus giving birth to the new global socio-human environment in need.
All the proceeds from the concert were donated to BRIS and ECPAT SWEDEN, organizations committing themselves to help children in all the possible dangers.
On November 18, Mr. Shin Idaki performed the piano and pipe organ at the Arctic Cathedral in Tromsoe, an Arctic town renowned for its beautiful auroras.
*BRIS (Barens Ratt Isamhallet or Children's Rights in Society)
Voluntary non-profit organization who operate the help line for the Swedish children below 18. They are committed to help children who are exposed to any kind of violence, abuse or neglect. Established in 1977, they operate nationwide with 5 regional branches in Sweden.
*ECPAT SWEDEN (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking in Children for Sexual Purposes)
Swedish organization for the elimination of child prostitution, child pornography and trafficking of children for sexual purposes. They are committed to ensure children enjoy their fundamental rights fee and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation. They have close ties with Japanese organizations.
